Do I have to book in advance?
A- We recommend enrolling at least on week in advance if you want to guarantee a spot. This gives us enough time to get organised with the material.

Do boys enjoy cooking classes too?
A- They love it. They have a lot of fun creating their own alien cookies or their monster cup cakes. It has been proven that kids are more willing to eat what they cook.

I can’t come on these dates, do you have any other times?
A- You have two options. You can enquire about “tiddlers go to you” or “special classes”.

What is “rascals”?
A- “rascals” is a play centre in Mosman. It is also a cafe, hair salon specialised for kids and party organiser. Leanne and Mark are a couple who live in Mosman and had the great idea of creating a perfect place for kids to play and parents to have a brake. You can enjoy a cup of coffee while your kids are playing in the play area. You can bring your baby, too. “rascals” is suitable for babies having a special area for them. “rascals” entry costs $9.95 and you can stay as long as you want, but don’t forget, by enrolling in cooking classes you get a free play. Can I enrol just for one class?
A- Yes you can enrol just for one class. But we strongly recommend the term enrolment. The kids enjoy a lot more when they get to know their class friends and as well the teachers. Also, if you enrol for the term your kid will get a certificate at the end of the term.

What do kids learn while cooking?
A- Cooking classes are a great way for your kids to have fun and learn at the same time. Our aim is to make a mess and have a lot of fun. Kids learn about cooking by watching, feeling, smelling and tasting. We don’t use any risky materials and the kids are always protected. If your child needs a boost of self confidence, cooking in the kitchen will do just that. They are accomplishing a task, learning something important and contributing to the family. It has been proven that kids are more willing to eat what they make. Creativity and imagination are a great way to express themselves and enjoy their creation. Cooking teaches kids how to plan and make choices.

Do I have to stay with them during the classes?
A- No, you don’t. The classes are conducted without the parents. You can stay and enjoy a great cup of coffee at “rascal” cafe, or if you prefer to leave, please talk to us about pick up arrangements.

Can they participate if he/she has allergies?
A- Yes. When enrolled we ask you to fill a form describing your kid’s allergies. “rascals” is a nuts free establishment and no nuts are sold or used.

If i want to have a private party, what is the minimum number of kids?
A- The minimum to have a private cooking party at home is 10 children. If you have a group of friends that would like to have a private party or classes at “rascals” we can organise it for a minimum of 10 children.

How long do I get to play at “rascals” if I enrol for a class?
A-You can play before or after classes for free at “rascals”.
